About this event

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS ONLY IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE FOR THIS EVENT. THERE IS NO LIVE STREAMING AUDIENCE OPTION.

What a long way the Australian cubesat community has come in such a short time. From humble beginnings at our first workshop in 2014, when cubesats were still novel and local launches seems implausible at best, through to now when Australia has more cubesats in development than have ever been launched from sovereign ground; there is explicit federal support for such activities along side involvement from almost every state and territory; the infrastructure to support satellite developments, launch and missions is advancing quickly and the progression to larger platforms is already well under way.

In this exciting, fast-moving environment, the community we have fostered at this series of events over the past eight years has helped guide the Australian space industry to where it is today, and will no doubt continue to forge new ground in shaping its future. We are proud to both support and be a part of the community that is solidifying Australia's future as a leader in high tech, advanced manufaturing and sovereign space capabilities.

After a mix of online and shorter format events over the past two years, the Australian Centre for Space Engineering Research at UNSW Sydney is excited to be welcoming both new and familiar faces to a full scale in-person event over a packed 2-day program. We will be gathering in-person speakers and delegates from around Australia, covering a broad spectrum of industry, start-ups, research, government and more.
